In 1989 Shimadzu introduced the one-piece force cell technology for precision balances: UniBloc which replaces the traditional electromagnetic balance sensor assembly consisting of more than 70 elements. The compact and uniform structure of UniBloc ensures superior impact resistance, stable temperature characteristics, excellent response times and stable performance under any corner load. All Shimadzu balances are also equipped with the Windows Direct function: this function allows you to export measurement data to Excel and other Windows® applications. The interface and the software are integrated, so all that needs to be done is to connect the scale to the PC via cable.
